Sports Maintenance is a combination of stretching/ flexibility, Myofascial Deep tissue/pressure and relaxation. Designed with an athlete’s specific sport in mind, this massage aids to increase muscle efficiency for better performance and is done in between competitions and performances to keep the body in tune with rigorous workouts. It can also be used to increase a specific function of ones athletic ability and /or alleviate any muscle/ joint strain from injury or overuse.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION...
During your session, you will experience whatever work you request. A session can be anything from a pure relaxation to an Agressive Deep Tissue to a Medical Massage for Injury & Rehabilitation to Pure Maintenance Massage for Injury Prevention. This type of massage is GOAL ORIENTED, whatever your goals for your body are, those goals will dictate the direction and flow of your sessions. You're in a nice relaxing enviroment, with hot towels, and a variety of massage strokes ranging from light relaxation and circulation strokes to agressive more muscle specific strokes. All of these strokes are designed to address your body's goals.
